The Fund will acquire lower mid-market Italian companies with strong fundamentals and will actively
guide them to generate enhanced shareholder value through the enhancement of their traditional business
as well as their digital transformation. The Fund will primarily make control investments in growth equity
transactions where it can be the control investor or otherwise have significant governance influence.
The Fund will generally deploy equity investments of 10 to 20 Mln Euro per transaction in Italian lower
mid-market companies with enterprise values between 20 and 60 Mln Euro. Due to the transformational
and the hands-on nature of its strategy, Kyma will aim to invest the Fund in 5 to 7 companies. Kyma’s
business model perfectly fits the SME’s needs in the post-Covid era, as Kyma will provide strategic guidance,
operational hands on support and fresh financial resources to a selection of quality companies which operate
in the Italian ecosystem.
